A marriage proposal is an event where one person in a relationship asks for the other’s hand in marriage and if he/she says yes, this marks their engagement.

POINTS TO HELP YOU PLAN…

Make sure he/she is ready to get married and will say yes!
Choose a location, meaningful, naturally pretty.
Once you have the location, find ‘a point of turn’ close the point of proposal. This is the point he/she realises that something big is about to happen.
Hushhh… Create a surprise but ensure he/she is dressed for the occasion. Let the families and friends know so they can be there to help you create a great memory.

This is a more sophisticated party with the bride-to-be. This is a relaxing and fun day with the female friends. This could include afternoon tea (high tea), spa treatments or a classy party with good conversations, food, wine and drinks.

Mehndi

Mehndi ceremony is an Indian wedding tradition; it is to be held a few days (up to a week) before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage. While mehndi is applied to the bride’s hands and feet, there will be songs, dances and games. Female guests also get a chance to apply mehndi too. This is a fun, exciting event in the lead up to the wedding
